Villa Hemera is one of 3 independent villas in a harmoniously designed and constructed property. The villa is a real Mykonian style retreat with an elegant, minimalistic touch and design.

Using traditional Mykonian architecture, enriched by artistic touches elegantly introduced, the villa features hand built stone walls and pavements with embedded natural granite cubes, cascading pools with salt or fresh water, external jacuzzi and waterfall. The infinity pool is artfully illuminated to create a relaxing atmosphere for warm evenings.

Landscaped outdoor areas, with white painted wooden pergolas and decks are some of the many standard features included. The furniture is either from local artists while others have imported from Paris, Spain and east Asia creating a unique combination of ethnic chic, a natural, yet modern, comfortable style. The bathrooms offer all the modern conveniences while providing a relaxing space. They include built-in showers, roman basins with pebbled floors and Spanish handmade colourful washbasins. Throughout the villa there are white wooden ceilings, plaster sculptural walls and aged white washed oak floors framed by a new concept of polished white cement.

The villa has its own large private space, exclusive swimming pool, Jacuzzi, barbeque area and parking for 4 cars. The property runs straight to the water’s edge, providing guests with access to their very own beach. The public yet very beautiful beach of Glyfadi is only a 10 minute walk away.

In the abundant garden there is lovingly cultivated olive trees, cypresses, lavenders, bougainvillea, jasmine and ortensias, providing a tranquil sense of health and happiness.

Location:
The villa is located in the south-west of Mykonos Island, in an area called Aleomandra, a very quiet area 6-8 minutes’ drive from the town. The villa hugs the hillside and overlooks the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. As the villa is situated on the south west coast of the island, it is protected from the strong north winds that can occur in Mykonos during the summer.
